Martin H. Iversen is an Associate Professor at Nord University, Faculty of Biosciences and Aquaculture (FBA) located in Bodø in Northern Norway.
His main field of expertise is zoophysiology, endocrinology, aquaculture practice and animal welfare. He's been participating in and leading several national and international projects regarding fish health, welfare, and best aquaculture practices in the last 20 years.
To mention a few as FishWell (Noble et al., 2018), LaksVel (Nilsson et al., 2022) and TermVel (Bui et al., 2022). He is also involved in teaching at the bachelor, master and PhD levels, both foreign and domestic, regarding animal welfare and fish physiology.
